Awesome start, bro! :) I've thought of starting too, but as you know... too many expensive hobbies at a time doesn't work out that easily (I mean, you know how much music stuff costs).
Don't know whether you already know this, but if you don't it might help a bit with some ideas your shots: the "Rule of Thirds".
Hey Dr V, its a good start!! Like Elder Darren always tell us actsposure ppl, just keep practicing..bring ur camera everywhr u go and shoot anything and everything..haha! Next time when u're back we can organise a photo shoot outing =P go take pictures of FOOD...haha!
